Neil Young to write his memoirs

Neil Young is writing his memoirs.

The legendary star has teamed up with Penguin Group USA's imprint Blue Riders Press to release the novel, tentatively titled Wagin Heavy Peace, sometime next year.

Sure to be a hit with the fans, Publisher David Rosenthal tells the New York Times: ""He's been very busy playing and touring and making records, and the guy has 100 things going on all the time. He felt that this a really propitious moment to try and put something down on paper...

"(He's already written) a good deal of material. The intention is to cover pretty much everything - growing up, music, life. I am astounded at his memory for detail."
