Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon has hit back at internet bloggers after facing a spate of untrue rumours - offering to meet his critics in person to set the story straight.

Cannon has been the subject of a string of recent online reports - including a story suggesting he is facing financial ruin over the engagement ring he bought his famous wife, something he subsequently denied.

And the web-spread rumours have infuriated Cannon - who has vowed to confront anyone spreading lies about him on the net.

In a video posted on YouTube.com he says, "I take respect real seriously and when you cross what I feel like you're offending my personal space,I wanna (sic) give you the full opportunity to say whatever you need to say to my face directly.

"So wherever you at, I'ma (sic) let you know when I'm in that area so you can come and tell me...

Anybody else who got some reckless shit to say on the Internet, I will give you my phone number. We can exchange.

If you really feel that bad about it, if you really have those harsh personal feelings against me, lets deal with it".
