Nicole Kidman has given birth to a daughter in Nashville, Tennessee - her first child with husband Keith Urban.The actress delivered Sunday Rose Kidman Urban early on Monday morning (07Jul08), reports People.com.The baby girl weighed in at six pounds, seven and a half ounces (2.93 kilograms). The "delighted" couple's spokesman Paul Freundlich says, "Husband Keith was by Nicole's side, and mother and baby are very well".It's Kidman's first natural child, after adopting 15-year-old Isabella and Connor, 13, during her marriage to Tom Cruise.Urban posted a message on his website soon after the birth was announced on Monday, thanking fans for their support.He wrote, "Earlier this morning, Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today".

Meanwhile Independence Day firework fun kick started Nicole Kidman's labour, according to her country singer pal Ronnie Dunn.

The Brooks & Dunn singer celebrated America's national holiday on Friday (04Jul08) with Kidman and her husband Keith Urban at his home in Nashville, Tennessee.

And Dunn is convinced the homemade fireworks he set off helped speed up the birth of baby Sunday, who was born early on Monday (07Jul08).
