Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger is preparing to take a break from music to concentrate on launching a movie career.
The star, who has already infuriated her bandmates with her solo ambitions, admits she is in negotiations to star in an upcoming biopic of Filipino boxer Manny 'Pacman' Pacquiao.
Scherzinger, who made a brief appearance in 2003's Love Don't Cost a Thing, admits she is a big fan of the sportsman and would be delighted to secure the role.
I've been given the Manny Pacquiao script so we'll see what happens with that
She tells America's Abs-Cbn television, "I've been given the Manny Pacquiao script so we'll see what happens with that... if I-m going to be part of that in any way it will be a blessing".
And Scherzinger, who has Filipino heritage, has other ambitions to support Pacquiao - by singing his country's national anthem at one of the sport star's upcoming fights.
She adds, "(It) would be an honor to sing the national anthem. So, let's make that happen! I'm so proud of him. I've been following him".
