Noel Gallagher Attacker Under House Arrest

Noel Gallagher will be happy to hear that the man who stormed the stage at V Festival in Toronto and knocked him over, has been sentenced to 12 months house arrest.

Poor Noel was minding his own business when Daniel Sullivan, 48, leapt onto the stage and knocked the Oasis star into the monitors, causing the guitarist to be treated for a suspected fractured rib and ligament damage.

Good old Noel did manage to finish the set after being patched up backstage, but did admit to be in a lot of pain after the gig ended and was swept off to hospital for treatment.

Mr Sullivan pleaded guilty to assault but a decision was made not to jail him.
