Noel Gallagher Thwarts Dognappers

Oasis star Noel Gallagher turned action hero to save a former Bond girl's dog from thieves.

The British rocker thwarted crooks as they tried to snatch a black labrador belonging to Caroline Munro - who starred as pilot Naomi in 1977's The Spy Who Loved Me.

He's a tough guy and he doesn't like people taking what isn't theirs so he tackled them and they quickly fled

According to British newspaper the Daily Mirror, Gallagher was near his house in London when he saw a bunch of youths trying to steal the pooch, which was tied up outside a supermarket.

Gallagher, a close neighbour of Munro, confronted the thieves - who promptly ran off.

A source tells the Mirror, "Noel was so brave - the men could have been carrying knives but he just didn't care. He's a tough guy and he doesn't like people taking what isn't theirs so he tackled them and they quickly fled.".
