Former Stone Roses and current Primal Scream star Gary 'Mani' Mountfield will join Noel Gallagher for his first post-Oasis shows.
The Don't Look Back in Anger singer has signed up to play two charity shows for the Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall in London at the end of March (10) - and he has asked the bass player to join him.
The two Manchester natives have become firm friends after settling a dispute over their beloved city soccer teams became headline news in 2003.
Mountfield reacted angrily to Gallagher's claims he was a closet fan of Manchester City - the former Oasis star's favourite team.
Mountfield rebuffed the suggestion, reiterating the fact he supported City's bitter rivals Manchester United.
Gallagher will also perform with a string section at his upcoming charity gigs.
