R&B star OMARION has declared he had nothing to do with the post-London bombings press release in which he urged fans to pray for his safe return to America.The former B2K star was in London when the blasts devastated the city last Thursday (07JUL05) but he insists he didn't authorise a release that stunned the local press there.The ill-advised press release read, "Omarion was in London during the tragic bombings that struck this morning. He would like his fans to pray that he has a safe trip and a safe return home. He appreciates your support."Omarion received a deluge of criticism for putting himself above the victims and those caught up in the tragedy, but he insists he had nothing to do with the release, allegedly signed by the singer's reported publicist, SHANA GILMORE.A publicist for the singer has discredited Gilmore's statement: "Statements and sentiments... attributed to the American R&B singer Omarion were never made by the performer."Omarion regrets any confusion and sends his thoughts and prayers to the families of the victims of this horrific tragedy."Gilmore has confirmed she is not Omarion's publicist, and insists she did not issue a press release in his name.
