Marie Osmond Hospitalised

The singer has bronchitis.

Veteran entertainer Marie Osmond has been hospitalised with a serious case of bronchitis.

The singer was admitted to a medical centre in Las Vegas on Wednesday night following her Donny & Marie variety show.

She was treated by doctors for the lung condition and discharged two hours later.

The star's representative, Alan Nierob, tells TMZ.com the 52 year old has "a bad lung problem".

As WENN went to press, Osmond was scheduled to perform on Thursday night at the Flamingo Las Vegas, where she and her brother Donny have a residency.
