P.Diddy Paid New Year Tribute to Heavy D

P.Diddy staged a prayer tribute to late pal Heavy D before ringing in 2012 at his South Beach, Miami home on Saturday night (31Dec11).

The hitmaker, real name Sean Combs, hosted a star-studded bash on Star Island but the deceased rapper weighed heavily on his mind and an hour before Diddy lit the fuse on a fireworks spectacular he allegedly asked guests like Busta Rhymes, Robin Thicke, Paula Patton, Selita Ebanks and Rihanna to remember Heavy D, according to the New York Daily News.

The rapper died in November (11) after collapsing outside his home in Los Angeles.
