Scottish singer Paolo Nutini has openly admitted he smokes cannabis - andhe can't see why people worry so much about its effects.

Smoking marijuana has long been linked with short term memory loss and other potential mental health issues.

I smoke pot, I don't see it as being seedy or dirty

But the New Shoes hitmaker insists it's okay to take the drug - becauseit won't affect everyone in a bad way.

He says, "I smoke pot, I don't see it as being seedy or dirty. There are mental health implications of course, but it's not like you're on a straight path Smoke a joint and then go mad".
