WATERMAN'S TRAIN-SET TIRADEBritish music mogul PETE WATERMAN screamed abuse at an employee before firing him from his model train-making firm MM1, a Scottish tribunal heard on Tuesday (01MAR05).The outspoken producer alleged sacked team leader and model train-maker MALCOLM COXHEAD, calling him "a f**king liar" when he disagreed with Waterman's views over letting workers go.Scottish firm MM1 was in trouble financially, and Waterman, who launched KYLIE MINOGUE's career in the 1980s, decided to make his staff redundant.Coxhead, however, insisted the situation was improving and sent Waterman a report of the company's figures to prove his point.Coxhead told a Glasgow tribunal, "He launched into a tirade about the figures being inaccurate and then called me a liar."MM1 denies unfair dismissal, claiming that Mr Coxhead quit his job at the company.
