Andre Beats Minogue in Online Auction

Peter Andre has triumphed over Kylie Minogue in a celebrity auction - landing four times as much cash as his fellow Aussie star.

Spinning Around singer Minogue donated a pair of her Giuseppe Zanotti designer shoes to an online sale in aid of health charity Wellbeing of Women.

The stilettos attracted a winning bid of $1,561 (£1,041) - but thechance to share a lunch date with Andre fetched a staggering $5,850 (£3,900).

And Minogue was also outdone by Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden - a day out shopping with the TV star sold for $1,980 (£1,320).

A pair of Rupert Sanderson heels, donated by Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, fetched $881 (£541) while a mystery bidder paid $697 (£465) for British singer Leona Lewis' Stella McCartney sandals.
