Bizarre Twitter.com postings attributed to jailed music producer Phil Spector were really the work of an internet prankster.
'Spector' began posting on the site last month soon after the mogul was sentenced to 19 years in jail for the 2003 murder of actress Lana Clarkson.
They included odd references to his friendship with a cockroach, and convinced many followers that they were the work of the eccentric Spector.
But the truth was revealed on Wednesday when 'Spector' posted the confession, "I am NOT Phil Spector. I made this account as a joke. Befriending a cockroach? C'mon folks... even Phil's not that crazy".
