Preeya Kalidas might be crawling her way back to the Eastenders cobbles after being dropped by her record label after her debut single failed to even reach the Top 40.

We didn't think Shimmy was remotely mindblowing when we first heard it to be totally honest, but you've got to give her a pat on the back for her huge promotional campaign.

Sadly an entry at number 85 just wasn't good enough for her 'people' and she (and her album, Constant Cravings, have been shown the door.

She's currently on the hunt for another label to take her and the album on, but did you hear her single Shimmy? If so, do you think she can make it?
