British pop star Rachel Stevens has married her boyfriend in a lavish ceremony in London.

The former S Club 7 singer wed Alex Bourne at Claridge's hotel in front of family and friends on Sunday (02Aug09).

The ceremony marked a happy ending for Stevens, who was attacked at the front door of her north London home in June (09) by thieves who stole her engagement ring, a necklace and a Rolex watch.

Meanwhile in further 'music' wedding news Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley married his girlfriend in a small ceremony on Friday (31Jul09).

The Gold hitmaker and his partner of six years, Alison Evers, wed at Cliveden House in Berkshire, England.

None of Hadley's Spandau Ballet bandmates attended the wedding, despite the group reforming in March (09) - finally ending a bitter feud that caused them split in 1989.

Britain's Sunday Express reports just two guests - Hadley's best friend and his wife - witnessed the ceremony, but the couple is planning a big party with friends and family at a later date.

The newlyweds have a two year old daughter, Zara.
