Chili Peppers Concert Sparks Trouble For The Bbc.A recent RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS concert has sparked a licensing row, leaving BBC music show TOP OF THE POPS in legal trouble. The BBC ignored the fact they don't have a licence to stage open-air gigs and let the Red Hot Chili Peppers promote their new single DANI CALIFORNIA in a west London outside concert venue. Viewers complained and local council Hammersmith and Fulham are now threatening action against the BBC.A BBC spokesman says, "Performances in Top Of The Pops are considered to be a private event, not a public event. But if another licence is needed, we will apply for it".
