Rev Run Building Kids' Playground

Rap legend Reverend Run is pitching in with 200 volunteers to help build a new children's playground in New York's the Bronx.

Run, real name Joseph Simmons, and his wife Justine are teaming up with charity KaBoom! for the project, which aims to encourage kids to spend more time outdoors.

The Bronx playground is just one of over 220 children's recreational areas the organisation hopes to build across the U.S.

The couple will help in the construction of the play area and will participate in its opening ceremony on 18 June (09), reports AllHipHop.com.
