Rihanna Selling Troublesome Mansion

The singer is filing a lawsuit over defects.

Rihanna is selling off her Los Angeles mansion after filing a lawsuit over its "extensive construction defects" in August.

The 'Umbrella' hitmaker has put her Beverly Hills home on the market for $4.5 million (£2.8 million) after purchasing it for $6.9 million (£4.3 million) in 2009, according to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

The R&B beauty sued after the eight-bedroom house allegedly sustained severe damage following a storm last year.

She claims its former owner was aware of structural problems including waterproofing defects but failed to take action.

In the lawsuit, Rihanna also named the inspector, engineers and real estate agents involved in the sale.
