Steve Lukather and Todd Rundgren have been recruited to Ringo Starr's All Starr Band for an upcoming North American summer tour (12).
The Beatles drummer has also called on Santana and Journey star Gregg Rolie and Mr Mister musician Richard Page to hit the road with him as he promotes new album Ringo 2012.
The supergroup will make its debut at the Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Ontario on 14 June (12).
Starr first toured with an All Starr Band in 1989 and his touring groups have included Joe Walsh, Cream's Jack Bruce, late The Who star John Entwistle and Sheila E.
Rundgren and Page have both participated in previous tours.
Starr recently confessed he regularly asks his former Beatles bandmate Paul McCartney to hit the road with him, but the singer is "always busy".
