Robbie Williams left almost everyone in the Royal Albert Hall dabbing their eyes with the nearest tissue after he had a very emotional return to the stage with his former band Take That.

After Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange and Mark Owen opened their Children In Need gig with their hit Greatest Day, Gary addressed the crowd saying; "What a beautiful place we are in tonight. What a perfect time to introduce an old friend of ours. Please welcome on stage, Robbie Williams!"

To which Robbie then sauntered onto stage, clearly trying not to cry and hugging each of his former band members in turn before the lads left Robbie alone to perform his singles Bodies and You Know Me.

But whilst the two acts didn’t perform any old Take That hits, they did reunite on stage at the end of the night for a rendition of The Beatles track Hey Jude, along with other performers Lily Allen, Sir Paul McCartney, Leona Lewis and more.
