Robbie Williams is well known for being a fan of partying, but last night he revealed just how close to death he was during a prescription drugs binge.
In an interview with The Sun, Robbie confessed that he was 24 hours from death after taking a cocktail of pills, including the painkiller Vicodin, which is thought to have contributed to the death of pop star Michael Jackson.
Robbie, 35 said; "I would do 20 Vicodin in a night. I was on my way out. I might have been 24 hours away from dying At the time you don't give a s*** if you pop your clogs. I must have been very, very close.
"I would have carried on, to be honest. You get to the point that far into your addiction, you're not bothered whether you live or die, because that's where it takes you."
Before Robbie checked into rehab on his 33rd birthday, he was taking everything from Speed, Ecstasy, Cocaine, LSD, Adderall and Heroin, but thankfully Robbie is now clean and ready to make some music.
