Rod Stewart Fears Penny Lancaster Has Changed Her Mind

ROD STEWART FEARS PENNY LANCASTER WEDDING IS OFF ROD STEWART is panicking over his forthcoming wedding, because he suspects fiancee PENNY LANCASTER has changed her mind. The ageing rocker is desperate to marry the model-turned-photographer, who is pregnant with his seventh child, but fears they may never make it down the aisle. But bride-to-be Lancaster insists she is just waiting until after the birth of their baby in December (05). She says, "He keeps reminding me, saying, 'Have you forgotten that I've proposed to you?' "Rod thinks I've changed my mind but I really haven't forgotten.
"This little thing inside me is my sole priority and I can't think of anything else right now. Only when he or she has come along can I look at taking the next step."

STEWART PLANNING TO BE HOUSE HUSBAND

Veteran rocker ROD STEWART will put his career on hold when his baby with fiancee PENNY LANCASTER is born later this year (05). The MAGGIE MAY singer admits he missed out on much of his daughter KIMBERLY, 26, and her 25-year-old brother SEAN's childhood because he was too busy enjoying his rock 'n' roll lifestyle.

The 60-year-old says, "I was touring a lot, being a drunk rock and roller and wasn't home. They missed out on me a great deal but we're making up for it... "I'd imagine it's difficult growing up in a normal way when you've got a father like me and they're living in a huge mansion."

But Stewart has no intention of repeating the same mistakes again
He continues, "The big difference with this baby is I'm going to be around a lot. I'm going to take next year off."
