Wood: 'I'm On My Own'

The singer is enjoying 'a brand new experience.'

Rocker Ronnie Wood is adamant he's enjoying single life - even though he's dating Brazilian beauty Ana Araujo.

The Rolling Stones guitarist split from Jo, his wife of 24 years in 2008 and started romancing Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.

That romance ended in late 2009, following a "domestic incident".

The rocker has since been pictured out and about with polo coach Araujo - but Wood is adamant he's living a life free of women for the first time since he was a teenager.

He tells Britain's Daily Mail, "I'm on my own really. Ana is my girl who comes round, but we meet when I say. I've never been on my own since I was 14, so it's a brand new experience.

"Before, I was always engulfed with relationships and never had a mind of my own. To finally break away from people controlling you is great, really great."
