Ronnie Wood has landed his own music TV programme on the back of his award-winning U.K. radio show.
The Rolling Stones star has carved out a broadcasting career for himself with his slot on Britain's Absolute Classic Rock radio station, which has become a hit with both listeners and critics.
He has won several prestigious prizes for his time on air, and now bosses at the U.K.'s Sky Arts channel have signed the rocker up to front a new music-focused programme, which will feature live performances from Wood's pals, as well as popular artists.
He says, "I've had so much fun doing my radio show and had lots of success with recent awards. It's now going to TV to give the audience the chance to see behind the scenes."
