Singer Rufus Wainwright is willing Amy Winehouse to pull through her troubles after they forged a friendship when she turned to him in one of her darkest moments.Wainwright, who kicked an addiction to crystal meth in the early 2000s, met the Rehab hitmaker when she knocked on his dressing room door at the music festival Coachella in California in 2007.He told U.S. magazine Rolling Stone in December (08) they bonded because Winehouse spotted "some light in my eyes".And now he is hoping his friend can overcome her highly-publicised battle against drink and drug addictions - because he doesn't want her talent to go to waste.He says, "She saw me as a safe haven.
