Brand Shoots Cameo in Gallagher Promo

Funnyman Russell Brand has filmed a bizarre cameo appearance in his pal Noel Gallagher's new promo video.

The former Oasis rocker released his second solo single, Aka...

What A Life!, earlier this month (Sep11) and he recently completed a short movieto accompany the track.

He initially refused when Get Him to the Greek star Brand asked for a role in the film - but then came up with a "ridiculous" idea for his friend's cameo.

Gallagher tells Nme magazine, "The day before I finished the video, Russell Brand was like, 'Can I have a cameo?'. Initially I said, 'F**k that', but we rewrote a load of stuff and he's in it now as some sort of crazed... well, you'll see it. He wears a top hat, it's f**king ridiculous".
