Last weekend saw Weston-super-Mare taken over by those bodies at channel4 for the annual T4 on the beach shindig, but as we all know, when you put celebrities on a beach with oodles of beer for a whole afternoon…there’s bound to be trouble. So if you weren’t one of the lucky ones who got to spend a day eating from the burger vans and weeing in the portaloos then here’s a bit of gossip for you.Obviously when you attend an event like this there’s hours of careful planning that go into your outfit, you want something that looks awesome, but is also practical at the same time. However, Sam Srapprow seemed to be completely oblivious to the fact that he was going to be seen my thousands and opted to attend looking rather like a badly co-ordinated neon cyclist. It’s understandable that with so many cracking acts to cater for, there are bound to be a mix-up, and even the head honchos at the bash were left blushing after they gave Lily Allen wannabe Adele’s dressing room soul songstress Duffy. The beautiful Nicolas Hoult from Skins was a bit worse for wear after enjoying the free beer a bit too much. The Skins star was wandering around on his own asking the crowds leaving the site to stay and party with him, when that failed he resorted to bribery by passing beer over the fence to some pretty young looking female fans.Forever the rockstars, McFly arrived late for the second year in a row but nevertheless managed to whip the crowd into a frenzy with their selection of old and new songs. The boys were as energetic as usual as they blasted out their new hit ‘One for the Radio’ and ran around the stage…what could be better than spending a day on the beach, licking a Mr Whippy and having your ears filled with cheesy pop? It’s true that you can never please everyone, but The Zutons didn’t seem to please anyone and were booed after a poor performance. The Liverpudlian Indie kids looked unbelievably miserable on stage, anyone would think they didn’t want to be there.
