Scissor Sisters Dedicate Song To Elton

The Scissor Sisters paid tribute to their pal Sir Elton John during their set at a London music festival on Thursday night (01Jul10) by dedicating a song to the Rocket Man.

The disco/pop stars took to the stage at the iTunes Festival and performed a string of hits before turning the spotlight on John, who was watching the show from the balcony of the Roundhouse venue.

Addressing the crowd, frontman Jake Shears said, "We want to dedicate a real sweet song for a dear friend of ours, who is here tonight. This is for you Elton, we love you."

Shears and his bandmates then launched into I Don't Feel Like Dancin', the hit single they co-wrote with John.
