Scissor Sisters' drummer has left the band.The US group, fronted by Jake Shears, have announced via their website sticksman Paddy Boom is no longer part of the group, but insist he will always be "our sister".The statement on Scissorsisters.com read: "We would like our fans and friends to know that we have amicably parted ways with the original Scissor drummer Paddy Boom. "He will no longer be on stage with us but he will always be our sister. Don't worry, we are hard at work on our new record and we can't wait to see you all soon."Paddy's current replacement is Randy 'Real' Schrager, although it is not yet known if Randy is to join the band on a permanent basis.At present the Scissor Sisters' are working on their next LP, the follow-up to their second album 'Ta-Da'.The hotly-anticipated record is due out in 2009 and is rumoured to include a duet with pop superstar Kylie Minogue, who is a self-confessed fan of the band.
