Selena Gomez happy puppy avoids surgery
Selena Gomez is relieved that her new pet puppy no longer needs surgery.
The teen singer picked up husky-cross Baylor last month after visiting an animal rescue shelter in Winnipeg with her boyfriend Justin Bieber, and she grew concerned when the puppy seemed to be doubled up in pain with a mystery illness.
She tweeted: "My baby is sick :( praying for his surgery".
According to TMZ.com, Baylor fell ill after swallowing some stones and was set to have an operation to remove them, but the rocks have since passed through the dog;s system and the pooch is back to health again.
