Sir Paul McCartney to star in Shrek 4

Sir Paul McCartney is reportedly set to test out his vocal skills on film - by voicing a new character in Shrek 4.

The former Beatles star will lend his voice to a new addition in the latest installment of the animated film franchise, starring alongside comedian Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas.

A source tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "The Shrek films have a proud tradition of getting great names and Macca is the best yet."
