The legend was stunned by Gibbons' guitar gift

ZZ Top star Billy Gibbons left pal Slash stunned when he sent the former Guns N' Roses rocker a rare issue Les Paul guitar from his own new custom line as a wedding anniversary gift.

The Pearly Gates axe arrived in the post for Slash on Friday - a week after Slash and his wife Perla celebrated their 10th year as man and wife by renewing their vows in Ibiza.

Slash took to Twitter.com to thank the Sharp Dressed Man hitmaker, writing, "I just got a new Pearly Gates LP from B Gibbons as an anniversary/wedding gift! Unreal. #possiblythebestgiftever#."

He later posted a photo of his new gift, adding, "Billy's a great friend. But also 1 of my all time favorite gtr (guitar) players/heroes. So I'm hugely honored."
