Smashing Pumpkins Star Jailed

Former Smashing Pumpkins star D'Arcy Wretzky has been jailed in Michigan for refusing to accept responsibility for her wild horses.

The rocker is behind bars after missing a series of court appearances in relation to a 2009 animals running large charge.

Wretzky was reportedly cited after horses on her farm broke free and hit the highway, prompting her neighbors to call the police to round them up.

The former Pumpkins bassist forgot to pay the fine and then missed four consecutive court dates, which resulted in a bench warrant for her arrest.

According to TMZ.com she's being held on four counts of failure to appear in court. She'll be released on Monday.
