Snoop Dogg to Raise Cash for Youth Center

Hip-hop heavyweight Snoop Dogg is set to help kids in his native Long Beach, California by raising millions of dollars to build a state of the artyouth center.
The Drop It Like It's Hot star is recording a charity track and plans to donate all the song's profits - estimated to be about $5 million - to The Kroc Center, a children's facility masterminded by The Salvation Army.
The center, costing a total of $140 million , will feature a top-of-the-range gymnasium and fitness center, swimming pools and sporting arenas in one of Long Beach's poorest neighbourhoods, reports AllHipHop.
Snoop Dogg isn't the only celebrity to lend the project some star power- American footballer Willie McGinest is also making a personal donation to the center and will help to promote the cause in various forthcoming ventures.
