R&B singer Solange Knowles has refuted rumours she was dropped from her record label following poor sales of her latest album Sol-Angel And The Hadley St. Dreams.
Reports circulated on Wednesday (08-Apr-09) alleging Beyonce's younger sister had been released from GeffenInterscope Records after selling only around 138,000 copies of the album.
But Knowles' father Mathew Knowles, who manages the singer under his MusicWorld Entertainment company, insists his daughter's music contract hasnot been terminated.
Her remarkable achievements speak forthemselves
He says, "Our joint venture with Music World and Interscope/Geffen/A&M is very much in place with Solange. Her remarkable achievements speak forthemselves".
A spokesperson for Interscope adds "Contrary to rumors floating through the internet over the last few days, Solange remains a part of the Interscope Geffen A&M family".
