Rapper Soulja Boy is set to cash in on his clothing line after striking a $3 million (£1.88 million) distribution deal.

The 'Crank That (Soulja Boy)' hitmaker launched S.O.D. Clothing in 2008, but he has now secured a lucrative chance to have an item from the line featured in thousands of stores.

The company which made the offer has yet to be revealed, but Soulja Boy admits he is overjoyed by the news.

In a tweet to fans on Wednesday, he writes, "just got great news they want to place 1 of my shirts in 600,000 stores thats 3million dollars cash. i'm crying tears of joy."
