Spears' Rep Speaks Out After Engagement Rumours

A spokesperson for Britney Spears has denied reports the pop singer is to marry her longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick.

  The Sun reported earlier this week that the pop superstar was secretly engaged to Trawick, her boyfriend of two years.

  Trawick was said to have proposed to the Toxic hitmaker by writing a romantic poem and filling their Los Angeles pad with candles and roses.

  But Spears' representative has been quick to dismiss the reports, stating: "She is not engaged."

  The mum-of-two, who has been married twice before, has previously refused to rule out tying the knot with Trawick, insisting, "I'd do it if the timing was right."
