Geri Halliwell has stunned fans of the Spice Girls - by letting slip theyare planning a shock second reunion.

The Girl Power stars split after Halliwell quit the group in 1998 but they reunited at the end of 2007 for a spectacular world tour.

Four members of the five-piece - Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm, and Melanie Brown - were pictured enjoying a night out together in London last week (16Sep09), sparking fervent rumours they will work together again.

We are friends first and foremost

All four were in contact with fifth member Victoria Beckham by text during their evening together - and Halliwell has now hinted they are considering a third run in the spotlight.

She tells U.K. TV show This Morning, "We are friends first and foremost. Obviously a career and music evolved through that friendship I think. Whatever happens afterwards is a bonus. We always talk about creative plans. Right - now, I'll be honest We are gathering information about a possibility, but I don't like to... when you are evolving a plan, you don't want to share it with the world".
