Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler fears there will be no big band reunion at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony next year (Apr12) - but he has his "fingers crossed" for a get together.

The band was named among the Class of 2012 on Wednesday (07Dec11), alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Beastie Boys, and Slash has already hinted he'll be there with his old bandmate Axl Rose, but Adler doesn't feel confident there will be a big comeback performance of original members.

There's love between all five of us. I know there is... We owe it to the fans

He says, "I don't foresee a Guns N' Roses reunion for the Rock N' Roll Hall Of Fame bow".

He tells Rolling Stone, "You figure that time could heal all wounds, but some people just really hold a crazy grudge".

"The real shame about the ending of Guns N' Roses, when I got kicked out, wasn't just that I got kicked out, but Slash and Axl stopped working together.

"They are the Keith Richards and the Mick Jagger! For 20 years, because of some stupid grudge, which I guarantee you that neither of them could even tell you what it was...

"I just had lunch with Slash...He loves Axl.He holds no grudges towards him. Twenty years of great music wasn't created because of some stupid grudge".

But he's hopeful the original five bandmates can get past their differences for a Hall of Fame performance.

He adds, "There's love between all five of us. I know there is... We owe it to the fans.

"The least we can do is give them one great performance. My fingers are crossed. My toes are crossed!"
