Rockers Sum 41 have pulled out of a joint tour with New Found Glory because of frontman Deryck Whibley's bad back.

I injured my back and the doctors are saying that I could be in a wheelchair

The Fat Lip hitmakers were due to head out on the road for 11 co-headline gigs with their fellow rockers in the U.K. next month (Feb11) but they've been forced to cancel their slot over Whibley's ailment.

They will be replaced on the tour by The Blackout.

In a statement, Whibley says, "I feel really terrible about letting down the fans. I injured my back and the doctors are saying that I could be in a wheelchair. So, as much as I wanted to be able to do it, I've got to look at reality, and for the first time I've got to listen to somebody else and not just myself.

"We're all really upset about this; we've had such a great relationshipwith our U.K. fans.

We were really looking forward to this tour".
