Susan Boyle heals rift with family

Susan Boyle has made peace with her family after a feud erupted over her fame.

The Scottish singer fell out with her brother Gerry adfter he accused the star's representatives of 'controlling' her and keeping 'her family away'.

He also claimed not to 'trust' or 'approve' of the team hired to oversee his sister's career, but Boyle has now said that the rift is over and healed.

She tells the Sunday Mirror: "It is a relief - and not before time. My family are calm and supportive now. They realise their wee (little) sister is being looked after properly and that I am with people they can trust."
