T.I. Will Begin Prison Term on 26 May

Rapper T.I. will turn himself in to authorities in Arkansas by noon on 26 May (09) to begin a 366-day jail sentence.

The Live Your Life hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr., was handed the sentence in March (09) following his 2007 arrest for illegal weapons possession.

He will spend his time behind bars at a low security prison in Forrest City, according to Tmz.com.

But the hip-hop star will be eligible for early release if he behaves himself while incarcerated - and could walk free after serving just 10 months.
