Taylor Swift To Sell Prom Dress

I know Taylor Swift is getting a bit of a name for herself in the music world at the moment, but I’m not entirely sure she’s that big that she can start selling off her clothes like Ginger Spice.

Don’t get me wrong, we love the country music sweetheart here at FF HQ, but when we found out that she was donating her prom dress to charity, we were somewhat baffled.

The Love Story singer has handed her cream and gold Jessica McClintock gown over to Hearst Magazines’ DonateMyDress.org, and she says, "I chose to give away this prom dress because I wore it once and loved it! To keep it around, hanging there all by itself and lonely in my closet, never to be worn again seemed a little pointless. I want another girl somewhere to feel good in it and have a great prom night because of this dress."

We’d love to think it was something as special as the Union Jack dress or Madonna’s 1980’s cone boobs, but sadly, we just don’t.
