The Blackout Name New Album

The Blackout have announced their new album will be named “Hope”.

The band has had a successful year in 2010 and with the new album in production it could be that 2011 is also a good year for the band.

Sean Smith, frontman of The Blackout told media: “The album title is a bit of a double entendre.”

"There's the wide-eyed hope and the negative, almost desperate meaning of the word, too. The word [hope] appeared a lot in the lyrics. [The songs] are a little darker than the ones on The Best In Town.” Smith adds.
