the Civil Wars' Williams Pregnant

the Civil Wars singer JOY WILLIAMS is pregnant with her first child.

The folk star had extra reason to celebrate her two wins at the Grammy Awards on Sunday (12Feb12) after announcing her baby news to fans on her Twitter.com blog on Friday (10Feb12).

She wrote, "Beyond elated to share that Nate (Yetton, husband) and I are expecting our first child in late June!!!" Williams showed off her growing baby bump on the red carpet at music's big night and walked away from the prestigious event a double winner - she and her bandmate John Paul White landed honours for Best Folk Album forBarton Hollow and Best Country DuoGroup Performance for the title track.

Joking backstage at the Grammys, Williams said, "I'm feeling butterflies but I can't tell if it's my baby kicking or the actual butterflies itself. Both sensations are really, really wonderful".
