Bob Bonis was the tour manager for both the Rolling Stones' first U.S. tour and the Beatles' last in the 1960s and he took everyopportunity to shoot the British supergroups.

A serious photographer, Bonis estimates he took over 3,500 shots of thebands - and now a selection of them make up The British Are Coming! exhibition at the Not Fade Away Gallery in New York.

Highlights include shots of Keith Richards and Brian Jones poolside at a hotel in Florida on the day they wrote (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, and a poignant portrait of John Lennon backstage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at one of the Beatles' last concerts.
