The Ting Tings Album Leaked Online

The Ting Tings are urging their record label bosses to move the release date of their second album after it was leaked online more than a month ahead of schedule.

The group was set to release its sophomore record Sounds From Nowheresville on 27 February (12) but it was made available to fans on Monday (23Jan12).

The duo is now urging bosses at Columbia Records to bump up the album'sofficial launch to stave off piracy.

In a series of posts on his Twitter.com account, That's Not My Name hitmaker Jules de Martino writes, "Lot's of people getting a listen of our new record... Miraculously?

"We should be p**sed and outraged but what good would it do? Some selfish idiot who had the music early just couldn't helpthemselves. "Ok all, thx (sic) for support.

"Whoever hit the button (to leak the album) will feel the weight.

"Gonna go get a real drink! come on Columbia, let it go!!!" The group released its first album We Started Nothing in 2008.
