Veronicas Star Admitted to Hospital

The Veronicas star Lisa Origliasso was admitted to hospital at the weekend (02-03Jan10) suffering from severe stomach flu.

The Australian singer, who fronts the pop duo with her twin sister Jessica, is currently in Los Angeles working on the band's next album, but the sessions came to a halt when she was struck down with crippling abdominal pains.

Origliasso was taken to the nearest emergency room for a check-up and was diagnosed with stomach flu.

The 25 year old has been updating fans about her condition in a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, even publishing a picture of herself sat in a wheelchair with an intravenous drip in her arm.

She writes, "Sorry I've been Mia (missing in action) on here, loves. I've been sick and had a little emergency room hospital visit. Not feeling so crash hot right now. I'm absolutely fine, guys. Just went to the hospital because you can never be too careful! Turns out I've got some crazy stomach flu. Been in bed all day resting up being pampered. already feeling A Lot better".
