The Zutons have branded American producers "up themselves".The Liverpudlian band spent some time in the US working on their most recent album, 'You Can Do Anything', with American producer George Drakoulias but claim they prefer working with their British counterparts. When asked about the difference between British and American producers, bassist Russell Pritchard told BBC 6Music: "From personal experience, we have done two over here and one over in America."I think that they are good over there, but there is a certain element of being up themselves a little bit which can get in the way of themselves a little bit, of their own talent. "They sort of know they are the best and that gets in the way, it's a bit of a barrier."'You Can Do Anything' charted at number six in the UK earlier this year.
